Carrot Almond Kheer(Milk)

Carrot -2
Almond -15
Sugar -to taste
Milk -3cups
Edible Camphor -pinch
Saffron -5threads
Ghee -1tsp


  1. Boil the almond in the micro wave for about 2 to 3minutes and peel the skin and keep it aside.
  2. Grate the carrot and keep it aside.
  3. Take a small pressure cooker and heat with ghee add grated carrot sauté for 3 minutes then add ½ cup milk.
  4. Now add peeled almond cook it until 2 whistle comes then turn off the stove.
  5. Grind coarsely cooked almond and carrot, now mix the remaining milk and boil it on the medium flame.
  6. Once milk starts boil add sugar mix well.
  7. Boil it for 5 minutes then turn off the stove.
  8. Then add saffron and edible camphor mix well.
  9. Serve it hot or cold.
  10. If you want to serve it cold keep it in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours and serve it.
