Mulaikkeerai Thengai Paruppu Poriyal(Amaranth leaves fry with Coconut)

 

Serving:4 |Type: veg –side dish

Ingredients:

 

 

Mulaikkeerai(chopped) -1 bunch
Onion(chopped) -½ onion
Salt -to taste
Grated Coconut -2tbsp(optional)
¾ Cooked Dhal -¼ cup(optional)

 

Seasoning:

Oil -1tbsp
Mustard -½tsp
Urad Dhal -½tsp
Red Chili -3
Curry Leaves -few

 

Method:

  1. Take the pan heat with oil add seasoning fry without burning.
  2. Meanwhile wash and chopped the mulaikkeerai.
  3. Add onion sauté for 1 minutes then add chopped mulaikkeerai sauté for 4 to 5 minutes  then add coconut , dhal and salt stir it well and turn off the stove.
  4. Serve with rice.

Note:

  1. Instead of pasipparuppu you can use thuvaram paruppu.
