Pesarettu(Whole Mung Dosa)

Serving: 7 to 8 Pieces| Type: Tiffin


Whole Mung(Pasi Payaru) -1cup
Raw Rice(optional) -2tbsp
Green Chili -3 to 5
Cumin ½tsp
Onion Chopped(optional) -1cup
Salt -to taste


  1. Soak the mung dhal and rice for 8 to 10 hours.
  2. Then grind with green chili, cumin and salt with little water.
  3. Grind it like coarse paste, not very smooth.
  4. Then heat the tawa on medium flame.
  5. Take a big spoon full of batter, spread it like thin dosa.
  6. Now spread the onion then drizzle the oil, and let it cook for both sides like crisp.
  7. Now take out from tawa serve with any chutney.
