Ingredients:
| Suran | -1 can |
| Chili Powder | -1tsp |
| Turmeric | -¼tsp |
| Salt | -to taste |
| Sombu | -½tsp |
| Garlic | -1 |
Seasoning:
| Oil | -2tbsp |
| Mustard | -1tsp |
| Curry Leaves | -few |
Method:
- Drain the water from the can and wash it.
- Then marinate with chili powder, turmeric and salt for 1 to 2 hour.
- Pound the sombu and garlic and keep it aside.
- Take a pan heat with oil add seasoning fry without burning.
- Now add pound sombu and garlic fry for few seconds then add marinated suran mix well.
- Cook for 5 to 10 minutes on medium flame.
- Then turn off the stove.
- Serve with white rice.
Note:
- In USA you can get only can senaikuzhangu.
- If you find fresh one you have to remove the skin and cut and boil it then make the poriyal.
- Most people get itchiness for the tongue.
