Type: Deepavali Snack
Serving: 45 Pieces

Ingredients:
| Rice Flour ( Pacharisi Maavu) | – 1 cup |
| Maidha Maavu | – 1 cup |
| Sugar | – 1 cup |
| Cardamom Powder | -1 tsp |
| Water | -as required for mixing |
| Salt | -1/4 tsp |
| Black Sesame seeds | – 2 table spoon |
| oil | – For frying |
| Aachu murukku | – Mold |
Medhod:
- Mix rice flour, madia, sugar, cardamom powder, salt, black sesame seeds and water.
- Combine to a dosa batter consistency.
- Allow it to rest for ½ an hour.
- Take a pan add oil, let it heat.
- Place the mold inside the oil. It has to be hot.
- Remove from oil and shake off excessive oil
- Then dip the mold into the batter, only ¾th of the way. The mold should not be covered fully.
- Then dip batter cover mold into the hot oil, let it fry for 30 seconds.
- The Muruku will release and fall down from the the mold.
- Allow the muruku to fry. And pull it out of the oil.
- place the mold into the oil, and get it hot again.
- Then repeat from step 6 -11 again.
- Keep doing it until batter got over.
- Now ready to serve. And enjoy the snack.
Notes:
- I used Store bought rice Flour.
- If you want you can use home made rice flour.
- I used Non stick mold.
- If you want you can add ½ cup coconut milk.
- You can add one egg also.
- I did not use any of those in this recipe.
- The mold should should be not very hot or cold.
