Serving: 4| Type: Veg Gravy/ Kurma
Ingredients:
| Channa(boiled) | -2cups |
| Onion(chopped) | -1 |
| Tomato(chopped) | -1 |
| Tomato paste | -2tbsp |
| Green chili | -1 |
| Red chili Powder | -1tsp |
| Channa Masala | -2tsp |
| Salt | -to taste |
| Coriander leaves | -few |
| Butter and oil | -4tbsp |
Sauté and grind:
| Onion(chopped) | -1cup |
| Tomato(chopped) | -1cup |
| Green chili | -2 |
| Garlic | -5pods |
| Ginger | -small piece |
| Clove | -4 |
Method:
- Take a pan heat with oil add onion, green chili, garlic, ginger and clove sauté for a minute on medium flame.
- Then add tomato sauté for a minute.
- Let it cool then grind and keep it aside.
- Take a heavy bottom pan; add ghee and oil sauté onion and green chili for a minute.
- Then add tomato and salt sauté until it get mash, and then add tomato paste sauté for a minute.
- Now add red chili powder mix well until raw smell goes then add ground paste.
- Sauté for 3 minutes then add boiled Channa with water.
- Boil it for 5 minutes then add Channa masala mix well boils it for another 2 minutes.
- Then turn off the stove.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with Bhatura.
Note:
- If you don’t have channa masala you can add whatever masala you like.
