Ingredients:
| Chicken (cubbed) | -500 grams |
| Onion(chopped) | -1 cup |
| Garlic(chopped) | -1 whole |
| Chili Powder | -1tsp |
| Turmeric | -¼tsp |
| Salt | -to taste |
| Coriander Leaves | -2tbsp |
Seasoning:
| Oil | -3tbsp |
| Sombu | -½tsp |
| Cumin | -½tsp |
| Fenugreek | -¼tsp |
| Red Chili(broken) | -8 to 10 |
| Curry Leaves | -few |
| Kal pasi | -few |
Method:
- Take a heavy bottom vessel, heat with oil add seasoning fry without burning.
- Now add onion, garlic, turmeric and salt saute well.
- Now add chicken saute well about 10 minutes then add chili powder cook well until chicken get soft .
- While cook the chicken cover with lid.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice.
Note:
- Instead of chicken you can use goat or lamb.
- This is originally mutton recipe from chettinad.
