Ingredients:
| Basmathi Rice | -2cups |
| Mixed veg | -2cups |
| Cabbage(chopped) | -1cup |
| Turmeric | -¼tsp |
| Tomato(chopped) | -1 |
| Clove | -4 |
| Cinnamon stick | -1inch |
| Bay Leaves | -2 |
| Oil and ghee | -3tbsp |
| Coconut Milk | -¼ cup |
| Salt | -to taste |
| Coriander Leaves(chopped) | -2tbsp |
| Water | -4 to 5 |
Coarse Grind without Water:
| Green Chili | -4 to 8 |
| Ginger | -1tbsp |
| Mint or coriander leaves | -¼ bunch |
Method:
- Mixed Veg: Carrot, Peas, Cauli flower and beans.
- Soak the rice for 15 to 20 minutes and drain the water and keep it aside.
- Take a heavy bottom vessel heat with oil.
- Add seasonings fry without burning then add cabbage and ground green chili.
- Sauté until cabbage color changes little then add turmeric, salt and coriander leaves.
- Sauté well then add vegetables sauté for 2 minutes.
- Now add soaked rice mix well and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Then add coconut milk and water.
- Mix well then let it boil on high flame.
- After bubble comes then cover with lid and turn the stove on to very low flame.
- Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes, do not open the lid and do not stir it in between.
- Then turn off the stove and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Now mix it and serve it with any side dish.
