Ingredients:
| Pilakkai (cut-small) | -1 cup(boiled) |
| Onion chopped | -1/4 cup |
| Green chili | -2 |
| Coconut Grated | -2tbsp (optional) |
| Thoor Dhal ( Half-cooked) | -2tbsp (optional) |
| Turmeric | -1/4tsp (optional) |
| Salt | -to taste |
Seasoning:
| Mustard | -1/2tsp |
| Urad Dhal | -1tsp |
| Red Chili | -1 |
| Curry Leaves | -few |
| Oil | -1tbsp |
Method:
- In a pan heat oil, add seasonings fry without burning.
- Now add onion, green chili, salt and turmeric sauté well in medium flame.
- Now addthe boiled pilakkai and mix it will. Then cover it with lid and cook for about 5 minutes on medium flame.
- Add cooked dhal and grated coconut stir it well and cook it for 1 minute.
- Now turn off the stove.
- Serve hot with white rice.
Note:
- If you use the can pilakkai you don’t need to boil it.
- If you use the fresh one you have to peel the skin cut very small cubes then boil with salt.
