Ingredients:
| 9 grain cereal | -2 cups |
| Oil | -2tbsp |
| Ghee | -1tbsp |
| Mustard | -1tsp |
| Urad Dhal | -1tsp |
| Channa Dhal | -1tbsp |
| Green Chili | -4 |
| Onion(Chopped) | -1 |
| Curry Leaves | -few |
| Coriander Leaves | -few |
| Asafotida | -¼tsp |
| Salt | -to taste |
| Water | -3cups |
Method:
- Take a heavy bottom pan heat with oil and ghee add seasonings fry without burning.
- Then add onion and green chili sauté for a minute and add cereal fry for 2 to 3 minutes until it get toasted on medium flame.
- Now add water, salt and coriander leaves mix well and let it boil.
- Cover with lid.
- After bubble comes keep it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Then turn off the stove.
- Serve with any chutney.
Note:
- 9 grain cereal, you can get it from health food store.
- It contains: Red wheat, White Wheat, Barley, Oats, Corn Meal, Millet, Buck Wheat, Flaxseeds and Rye.
