Serving: 12 to 15 pieces | Type: Sweets
Ingredients:
| Wheat Flour | -1 ½ cup |
| Maida | -½ cup |
| Salt | -2pinch |
| Oil | -3tbsp |
For Pooran:
| Grated Coconut | -1 ½ cup to 2 |
| Jaggery | -¾ to 1 cup |
| Salt | -pinch |
| Cardamom Powder | -¼ to ½tsp |
Method:
Prepare the dough:
- Mix everything with water make like chappati dough and keep it aside for 2 to 3 hours.
Prepare the pooran:
- Take a pan add the coconut and jaggery.
- Add 2tbsp of water mix well and cook it like 4 to 5 minutes.
- Then add cardamom powder and mix well.
- This pooran should be not very hard or not very soft.
- This consistency should be make like a ball.

Prepare the Poli:
- Take a dough make balls.
- It should be same count dough balls and pooran balls.
- Take a dough make like cup and stuff the pooran and close it.
- Now roll like thick chappati.
- Heat the tawa and cook the poli and spread the ghee on both sides and again cook it’
- Until golden spots appears.
- Serve hot.
