Ingredients:
| Thoor Dhal | -1cup |
| Onion(chopped) | -½ cup |
| Tomato(chopped) | -½ cup |
| Green chili | -3(slit) |
| Turmeric | -¼tsp |
| Chili Powder(optional) | -¼tsp |
| Coriander Leaves | -2tbsp |
| Salt | -to taste |
| Garam Masala | -1tsp |
| Lemon juice | -1tsp |
Seasoning:
| Ghee | -2tbsp |
| Mustard | -½tsp |
| Cumin | -1tsp |
| Asafotida | -pinch |
| Curry leaves | -few |
| Red chili | -2 |
| Ginger Garlic paste | -1tsp |
Method:
- Pressure cook the thoor dhal very smoothly and keep it aside.
- Take the pan heat with ghee add seasoning fry without burning.
- Now add onion and green chili sauté for a minute, then add tomato, salt, turmeric and ginger garlic paste sauté until tomato get mashed.
- Then add chili powder and cooked dhal with 1 cup of water .
- Cook it for 5 minutes then add garam masala boil it for a minute then turn off the stove.
- Now add lemon juice.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with Chappati.
