Ingredients:
| Chicken | -400grams |
| Onion(diced) | -1cup |
| Tomato(diced) | -1 |
| Green chili(slit) | -2 |
| Chili Powder | -2 to 3tsp |
| Turmeric | -¼tsp |
| Ginger Garlic Paste | -1tbsp |
| Salt | -to taste |
| Sesame oil | -3tbsp |
| Clove | -2 |
| Cinnamon | -1inch |
| Curry leaves | -few |
| Red Chili | -1 |
Fry and Grind:
| Sesame Oil | -1tsp |
| Sambar Onion | -15 |
| Garlic | -4 |
| Sombu | -1tsp |
| Pepper | -1tsp |
| Cumin | -1tsp |
| Clove | -2 |
| Curry leaves | -15 leaves |
| Coriander Powder | -2tbsp |
Method:
- Fry the above ingredients and grind with little water and keep it aside.
- Take a cooker heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning.
- Then add onion, green chili sauté for 1 or 2 minute, then add tomato, little salt and turmeric sauté until tomato get mash.
- Now add chicken sauté for 10 minutes on medium flame.
- Add chili powder mix well then add 2 cups of water, then cover with lid let 1 or 2 whistle comes then turn off the stove.
- Let cool down the cooker, open it then add ground paste, then boil it for 5 minutes and turn off the stove.
- Serve with rice, idly dosa or pulav.
Note:
- Instead of nattu Kozhi you can use whatever is available.
- Garnish Game hen is best for this gravy.
