Mambazha Chaaru (Ripe Mango Gravy)

Serving: 4/ Type: Veg Kuzhambu

Ingredients:

Ripe Mango -6(small)
Green Chili -2 to 4
Turmeric Powder -1/4tsp
Salt -To taste
Jaggrey -1tsp
Water -3 cups

Seasoning:

Oil -1 tsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -1tsp
Cumin -1/2tsp
Asafetida -1/2tsp
Curry leaves -Few
Red Chili -2

Method:

  1. Wash and peel the mango.
  2. Take a pan add mango, green chili, turmeric, salt, jaggrey and water.
  3. Boil it until mango gets soft.
  4. Take a pan heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning.
  5. Now add it into the charu.
  6. Mix well, then turn off the stove.
  7. Serve with rice.

Note:

  1. I used small mangoes.
  2. You can use big mangoes, peel and cut small pieces.
  3. If you fell Watery ,you can add 1tbsp rice flour.
