Pavakkai Vadhakkal (Bitter Guard Fry)

Pavakkai Vathakkal Cook

Ingredients:

Pavakkai Full

Pavakkai -1 pound
Turmeric -¼tsp
Salt -¼ tsp
Oil -4 to 5 tbsp
Chili Powder -2tsp
Salt -to taste

Pavakkai Cut and marinate for vathakkal

Method:

Pavakkai Vathakkal in stove

  1. Wash and cut the pavakkai like round and remove the seeds.
  2. Marinate with turmeric and salt.
  3. Keep it for 2 hours and squeeze out the water and keep it.
  4. Take the pan heat with oil add pavakkai chili powder and salt.
  5. Sauté until it get soft and roasted on medium flame.
  6. Serve like side dish for rice.
