Catfish Nuggets Kuzhambu(Catfish Nuggets Tangy Gravy)

Serving:4 |Type: Non-Veg

Ingredients:

Fish Nuggets -400gram
Shallots or Onion -1cup(chopped)
Garlic Flakes -10(chopped)
Chili and coriander powder -2 or 3tbsp
Turmeric -¼tsp
Tamarind -lemon size
Tomato -1(chopped)
Salt -to taste

Seasoning:

Sesame oil -3 or 4tbsp
Fenugreek Seeds -½tsp
Red Chili -1
Green Chili -1
Curry Leaves -few

Method:

  1. Soak the tamarind with ½ cup water and squeeze out the pulp and keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan heat with oil add seasoning fry without burning.
  3. Add onion and garlic saute for 2 minutes then add tomato saute with salt and turmeric until tomato get mash.
  4. Then add chili coriander powder mix well now add tamarind pulp and 3 cups water.
  5. Boil it for 15 minutes on medium flame until it gets thick.
  6. Now add fish nuggets cook it for 2 to 3 minutes then turn off the stove.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  8. Serve with rice or idly, dosa.
