Type: Masala Powder
Ingredients:
Red Chili | -1 cup |
Urad Dhal | -1 ½ cup |
Asafotida | -2 small pieces |
Curry Leaves | -½ cup |
Salt | -to taste |
Oil | -2tsp |
Method:
- Take a pan dry roast salt first and keep it aside.
- Then add oil to the same pan and fry red chili without burning keep it aside.
- Next in the same pan add a little more oil and fry asafetida and keep it a side.
- Again add a little more oil and fry urad dhal until it is golden brown and keep it aside.
- Again add a little more oil on the pan and then fry curry leaves.
- After all the ingredients have cooled down and mix everything together and grind it in a blender or mixie into a course powder .
- You can use this powder for idly, dosa and Adai.
Notes:
- You can fry everything together also, but you have to careful and make sure that every ingredient is roast perfectly.
