Karuppu Ulundu Milagu Vadai(Whole Black Gram Pepper Vada)

Ingredients:

Karuppu Ulundu -1cup
Black Pepper -1tbsp
Cumin -1tbsp
Salt -to taste
Oil -for frying

Method:

  1. Soak the ulundu for 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Grind coarsely with little water like dough.
  3. Make a coarse powder for pepper and cumin.
  4. Mix salt, pepper cumin powder with ground dough.
  5. Take a pan heat with oil for deep frying.
  6. Take a small lemon size dough make like vadai and put it in hot oil.
  7. Cook for both sides like golden and take it out from oil.
  8. Serve hot.

Note:

  1. This  is very special vadai (called Hanuman vadai).
  2. This is very tasty  and crispy vada also, because  we grind with skin.
