Ingredients:
Kavuni Arisi | -½ cup |
Sugar | -½ cup |
Grated Coconut | -3tbsp |
Ghee | -2tbsp |
Method:
- Take a pressure cooker keep the rice in the bowl with 1 cup of water.
- Boil it until 3 whistle come then keep it on simmer for 10 to 15 minutes then turn off the stove.
- Let the cooker cool down .
- Then open it and mix the rice. Place it back in the cooker .
- Turn on the stove keep cook for 1 whistle, then keep it on simmer for 5 minute and then turn off the stove.
- After the cooker cools down, open it and take the cooked rice and mix sugar, coconut and ghee.
- Mix it well and serve it.
Note:
- You can soak the rice for 7 to 8 hour and therefore the rice only need to cook for a lesser time.
- If you want you can increase or decrease the sugar.
- This sweet is chettinad special.
