Ingredients For Dough:
Wheat Flour | -2 cups |
Salt | -to taste |
Warm Water | -1 to 1 ¼ cup |
Oil | -2tsp |
Omam(optional) | -1tsp |
Ingredients For Stuffing:
Mullangi | -1 ½ cup |
Green chili | -3 (chopped) |
Salt | -to taste |
Turmeric | -¼tsp |
Cumin | -1tsp |
Coriander Leaves | -3tbsp(chopped) |
Garam Masala | -1tsp |
Onion(optional) | -1tbsp(chopped) |
Method:
- Prepare soft dough for chappati (Mix all the ingredients for dough) Keep it aside for 2 to 3 hours.
- Take the mullangi peel the skin and grated it, then squeeze out the water and keep the grated mulligi aside.
- Now all the ingredients for stuffing mix with grated mullangi.
- Take the dough make a ball with even numbers.
- Take two balls roll out 2 small chapattis , take the stuffing mixture place it in the middle of bottom chappati and spread it and cover with another chappati without air pocket and roll it like thick chappati (paratha).
- Now heat the tawa cook both sides of the paratha with little oil or ghee for medium heat.
- Serve hot with any side dish or raitha.
Note:
- Make sure while rolling the paratha the stuffing does not come out of the sides.
- After cook the paratha you can serve with a spoon of butter on the top.
