Ragi Dosai with carrot and drumstick leaves

Ingredients for Dosai:

Ragi Flour -2cups
Urad Dhal Batter -1 cup
Shredded carrot -1/2 cup
Salt -to taste

 

Seasoning:

Oil -1 tbsp
Mustard -1 tsp
Asofotida -pinch
Onion (Chopped) -1/2
Curry leaves -few
Coriander leaves -few
Green chilli (chopped) -1
Drumstick leaves -1 cup

Method:

  1. Mix the ragi flour with the urad dhal batter and add salt.
  2. Heat a pan with oil and add all the seasoning.
  3. Then pour the seasoning over the just ground batter.
  4. Next add the shredded carrot and mix well.
  5. Next heat a dosai pan and then ladle out a big spoon of batter in a circle shape.
  6. After it has cooked half way through, flip the dosai to the other side
  7. Let it cook for 30 seconds.
  8. Then remove from heat.
  9. Serve it with chutney.
