Spinach and Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients:

Any type pasta –        1 pound
Spinach (roughly chopped) –        3 cups
Mushroom (chopped) –        2 cups
Onion (chopped) –        1 cup
Garlic (chopped) –        2 cloves
Chili flakes –        To taste
Salt –        To taste
Milk –        2 cups
All-purpose flour(maida) –        2tbsp
Butter –        2tbsp

Method:

Spinach_Mushroom_pasta_cook

  1. In a big pot, boil water with salt.
  2. After the water comes to a rapid boil, add the pasta.
  3. Then lower the heat to a medium.
  4. Allow the pasta to cook.
  5. Then drain the water.
  6. Meanwhile in another pan, heat some olive oil and then add garlic sauté for few seconds.
  7. Then add onion and mushroom.
  8. Sauté for 1 or 2 minutes with little salt.
  9. Next add the spinach and sauté until it is soft.
  10. Add chili flakes mix well.
  11. Take another pan heat with butter, then add All-purpose flour.
  12. Keep mixing the flour, until all the flour is incorporated in to the butter.
  13. Now add milk and stir vigorously until the flour and milk mix together and become thick and creamy.
  14. Then add this into the cooked vegetable.
  15. Mix well, then add cooked pasta.
  16. Stir well and then check the salt and spiciness.
  17. Serve hot.
