Ingredients:
Raw Rice | -1 cup |
Mung Dhal | -2tbsp |
Brown Sugar | -1 ½ cup |
Grated Coconut | -2tbsp |
Ghee | -3tbsp |
Cashew nut | -10 |
Cardamom powder | -¼ tsp |
Salt | -¼ tsp |
Water | -3 cups |
Method:
- Dry roast Rice and dhal Separately until brownish.
- Now powered it coarsely.
- Take a pan heat with ghee fry cashew nut and keep it aside.
- In the Same ghee add grated coconut and fry it until light brown.
- Take a slow cooker add 3 cups of hot water.
- Add ground rice and dhal powder mix it well with salt.
- Close it with lid and keep it high.
- It will take 1 ½ to 2 hours to cook.
- Now add brown sugar mix it well.
- Let it cook for 20 minutes.
- Now add fried nuts and coconut, and cardamom powder.
- Mix it well.
- Serve with Thalagam.
