Ingredients:
Vegetarian Chicken | -300 gram |
Onion(Chopped) | -1cup |
Tomato(Chopped) | -½ cup |
Garlic(chopped) | -5pods |
Ginger Garlic Paste | -1tsp |
Chili Powder | -2tsp |
Green chili(slit) | -1 |
Turmeric | -¼tsp |
Salt | -to taste |
Cashew nut | -15 |
Khus Khus | -1tsp |
Garam Masala | -1tsp |
Seasoning:
Oil | -3tbsp |
Cumin | -½tsp |
Sombu | -½tsp |
Cloves | -2 |
Cinnamon | -1inch |
Kal Pasi | -few |
Curry Leaves | -few |

Method:
- Grind cashew nut and khus khus with little water like paste and keep it aside.
- Take heavy bottom vessel heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning.
- Now add onion, green chili and garlic, sauté with little salt and turmeric for 1 minute.
- Then add ginger garlic paste sauté for few seconds and add tomato sauté until tomato get mash.
- Now add chili powder and veg chicken sauté for few minutes then add 2 cups of water.
- Cook it until chicken get soft then add ground paste and garam masala.
- Cook it for few minutes and kuzhambu gets thicken.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with white rice, idly, dosa, roti or pulav.

- Vegetarian chicken can be bought in all American groceries in the freezer section.
