Ingredients:
10 bean soup mix | -1cup |
Carrot(Grated) | -1 |
Cucumber(Diced) | -1 |
Coriander Leaves | -few |
Oil | -1tbsp |
Mustard | -1tsp |
Urad Dhal | -1tsp |
Red Chili | -2 |
Curry Pwd (opt) | -1tsp |
Grated Coconut | -1tbsp |
Curry Leaves | -few |
Asafotida | -pinch |
Method:
- Soak the beans for 7 to 8 hours.
- Boil it in the open pan for 15 to 20 minutes, then strain the water and keep the beans aside.
- Take a pan heat with oil, add mustard and let it crackle.
- Then add urad dhal, red chili, curry leaves, asafotida and curry powder and fry without burning.
- Now add grated coconut, salt and then add the boiled beans.
- Cook for 1 to 2 minute and then turn off the stove.
- Now mix the carrot and cucumber.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve it as salad.
