Ingredients:
Almond flour | -1 ½ cup |
Unsalted Butter | -½ cup |
Granulated Sugar | -¼ cup |
Brown Sugar | -½ cup |
Large Egg | -2 |
Chocolate powder | -1 cup |
Vanilla Essence | -1tbsp |
Almonds (Chopped) | -1/4 cup(optional) |
Salt | -a pinch |
Chocolate chips | -¾ cup |
Milk | -2 tbsp |
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 350˚F (175˚C)
- Take 8” round pan, grease it with non-stick spray.
- In a small sauce pan heat it medium heat and melt butter.
- After the butter has melted, add the chocolate powder and mix it well.
- Next add the granulated sugar and brown sugar and mix it in.
- Turn off the heat and then allow the mixture to cool.
- After it has cooled, add one egg at a time and beat it well.
- Next add the almond flour, salt, the chopped almond, and ½ of the chocolate chip. (Save ¼ of the chocolate chip for sprinkling on the top.)
- Add the milk and mix well with the dry ingredients.
- Pour the mixture into the greased pan and sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chip on the top.
- Place it into the preheated oven.
- Bake it for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Then check with a skewer.
- If the batter sticks to the skewer, then bake it for another 5 minutes.
- Then take it out from the oven, let it cool for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Cut it and serve it.
Notes:
I used Nesquick chocolate powder. If you don’t have chocolate powder, you can used about a cup of chocolate chip and melt it slowly with the butter.
