Almond Peda (Almond Milk Fudge)

Serving: 30 to 40 pieces |Type: Sweet

Ingredients:

Ricotta Cheese -15 oz can
Dry Milk Powder -200 grams
Condensed milk -14 oz can
Almond(Chopped) -5tbsp
Rose Essence -1tsp
Butter -1tbsp

Method:

  1. Take a nonstick pan add ricotta cheese, milk powder and condensed milk.
  2. Mix well without lumps and place it in the stove top.
  3. Cook well on medium flame and stir it continuously, so that it does not stick to the bottom.
  4.  Then add butter, rose essence and almond.
  5. It will take 15 to 20 minutes for the mixture to thicken.
  6. Then remove it from the stove and spread it on the tray.
  7. Let it set in the fridge for 2 hours and then roll it into the shape that you like.
  8. Serve it in room temperature or cold.

Note:

  1. You can make it in the micro wave also.
  2. It will take 15 to 20 minutes to make.
  3. Mix all the ingredients, (expect Rose essence which you have to add at very last) in a microwave bowl.
  4. Place it in the microwave for 3 minutes and then take out and mix it thoroughly.
  5. Then place it back in the microwave for another 3 minutes and take out and mix it thoroughly.
  6. Keep repeating this until it gets thicken.
  7. Then follow from step 6 from top.
