Ingredients:
Podalankai(Diced) | -2cups |
Mung Dhal(3/4 Cooked) | -½ cup |
Turmeric | -pinch |
Salt | -to taste |
For Grinding:
Grated Coconut | 3tbsp |
Cumin | -½tsp |
Green chili | -2 |
Black pepper | -½tsp |
Seasoning:
Ghee |
-1tsp |
Mustard | -1tsp |
Urad Dhal | -1tsp |
Curry leaves | -few |
Method:
- Boil the podalankai with ½ cup of water.
- Meantime grind the masala with little water and keep it aside.
- After podalankai get soft add salt, turmeric and ground masala.
- Boil it for few minutes then add boiled dhal.
- Let it cook for few minutes, Then turn off the stove.
- Then Season it and serve it.
