Ingredients:
Broad Beans | -20 |
Salt | -to taste |
Oil | -1tsp |
Mustard | -1/2tsp |
Urad Dhal | -1/2tsp |
Red Chili | -1 |
Curry Leaves | -few |
Asafotida | -pinch (optional) |
Method:
- Cut the vegetable like 1 inch pieces.
- Take the vessel with 1 cup of water, boil the vegetable with salt.
- Drain it and keep it aside.
- Take the pan heat with oil add seasonings fry it without burning.
- Add the boiled vegetable cook it 2 minutes and turn off the stove.
- Serve it hot with rice.
Note:
- You can boil it in the microwave also.
- You can also prepare the avaraikkai by heat some oil and adding all of the seasonings. Then add the avaraikkai raw, fry it. Then add ½ a cup of water and salt to the vegetable to make it soft. While this is cooking cover it with a lid. Revmove from heat once the avaraikkai is soft.
