Ingredients:
Chicken Pieces | -300 grms |
Onion | -1 cup (chopped) |
Tomato | -1 cup (diced) |
Ginger & Garlic paste | -1 tsp |
Chili Powder | -1 tsp |
Coriander Powder | -2 tsp |
Turmeric Powder | -1/4 tsp |
Salt | -to taste |
Water | -2 cups |
Coriander Leaves | -2 tbsp |
Garam Masala | -1 tsp |
Green Chili | -2 |
Seasoning:
Aniseed(sombu) | -1/2 tsp |
Cumin | -1/4 tsp |
Fenugreek | -1/4 tsp |
Cloves | -2 |
Cinnamon Stick | -1 inch |
Black Stone Flower (kal pasi) | -few |
Red Chili | -1 |
Curry leaves | -few |
Oil | -3 tbsp |
Method:
- In the pan heat the oil and add all of the seasonings, let it fry.
- Add onion, ginger, garlic paste and green chili fry well for about 1 minute.
- Now add tomato, salt and turmeric sauté well until tomato gets smashed.
- Add chicken pieces sauté well, cover with lid and cook about 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Now add all the masala powders and stir well, then add water cook until chicken get soft.
- Turn off the stove.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice or chappathi.
