Ingredients:
Coconut grated | -1/2 cup |
Fried gram dhal | -1/4 cup |
Green chili | -2 |
Red chili | -2 |
Water | -1cup |
Salt | -to taste |
Seasoning:
Oil | -1tsp |
Mustard | -1/2 tsp |
Urad dhal | -1/2 tsp |
Red chili | -1 |
Curry leaves | -few |
Asafoetida | -1 pinch |
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients above with cup of water.
- Then season it and serve it.
Note:
- It goes with vada, idly,dosa, pongal and uppma.
- You can add ¼ finely chopped onion in the chutney.
- If you are using dry or frozen coconut, grind with warm water. This helps the coconut grind properly.
