Italian Broad Beans Carrot Thovandal(Dry Curry)

Ingredients:


Half Cooked ThurDhal -½ cup
Italian Broad Beans(Cut) -5
Carrot(cut Small) -2
Onion(Chopped) -¼ cup
Sat -to taste
Turmeric -pinch

Seasoning:


Oil -1tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -1tsp
Red Chili -2
Curry Leaves -few

Method:


  1. Wash and boil the broad beans for 4 minutes in the microwave with little salt .
  2. Take a pan heat with oil add seasoning fry without burning:
  3. Add onion and turmeric  sauté for few minutes then add carrot sauté for 1 or 2 minute .
  4. Then add cooked beans and remaining salt sauté for a minute and cover with lid.
  5. Cook it for low flame about 5 minutes then add cooked dhal.(without water).
  6. Mix it well and check the salt then cook for 1 or 2 minute then turn off the stove.
  7. Serve it for white rice and any Kuzhambu.
