Ingredients:
Rice | -½ cup |
Milk | -1 ½ cup |
Kalkandu | -½ cup |
Saffron | -5 threads |
Ghee | -4tbsp |
Salt | -pinch |
Method:
- Cook the rice with milk in the pressure cooker and keep it aside.
- Take out from the pressure cooker and put it in a big pan to cook.
- Then add kalkandu and pinch of salt.
- Keep it in the stove and cook it until all the kalkandu melts and rice gets thicker.
- Then add saffron and ghee.
- Now it’s ready to serve.
- If you want you can season with dry fruits with ghee.
