Ingredients:
Maida | -1cup |
Sugar | -1 ½ cup |
Water | -½ cup |
Ghee | -½ cup |
Rose Essence | -few drops |
Method:
- In the pan heat the ghee and make it hot.
- Fry the maida in the hot ghee on low flame until it turns golden color and keep it aside.
- Take another pan add sugar and water then boil it.
- Boil until one string Consistency (It means if we touch the sugar syrup between thumb and index finger it should form one string).
- Now add the maida and mix it well then turn off the stove.
- Then keep on stirring until mixture gets thickened like thick idly batter then add rose essence.
- Now take a plate and apply ghee then pour the mixture in it.
- Make it smoothly with spatula.
- Let it cool down and cut it.
- Store it air tight container.
