Peerkangai Masala(Ridge Gourd Masala)

Ingredients:

Peerkangai -2
Onion(chopped) -½ cup
Turmeric -¼tsp
Oil -2tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Curry leaves -few
Salt -to taste
Lemon Juice -1tbsp

Roast And Grind:

Coriander Seeds -2tbsp
Mustard -½tsp
Fenugreek -¼tsp
Sesame seed -1tbsp
Grated Coconut -1tbsp
Cumin -1tsp
Chili Powder -2tsp
Cinnamon -1stick
Kalpasi -1
Onion(chopped) -2tbsp

Method:

  1. Take a pan heat with oil add above ingredients roast without burning and grind with little water and keep it aside.
  2. Remove the skin and cut into 1 inch thick round and keep it aside.
  3. Take a pan heat with oil add seasoning fry without burning.
  4. Add onion, vegetable , salt and turmeric sauté for 5 minutes then add ground paste.
  5. Sauté until all water get observe then add 1tbsp of lemon juice.
  6. Mix well then turn off the stove.
  7. Serve with white rice or chappati.
