Ingredients:
Chicken | -400grms |
Shallots or Onion(diced) | -½ cup |
Coriander Powder | -2tbsp |
Turmeric | -¼tsp |
Curry Leaves | -few |
Sesame Oil | -3 or4tsp |
Salt | -to taste |
Coriander Leaves | -1tbsp |
Sombu | -½tsp |
Fenugreek Seeds | -¼tsp |
Roast and grind:
Step–1
Red Chili | -5 |
Whole Pepper | -1 ½tsp |
Cumin | -1 ½tsp |
Sauté and Grind:
Step–2
Shallots or onion | -1 cup |
Garlic | -5 pods |
Method:
- Take a pan heat with oil roast step 1 and grind with water and keep it aside.
- Then same pan heat with oil sauté step 2 and grind, keep it aside.
- Cut the chicken and wash it.
- Take a heavy bottom vessel heat with sesame oil add sombu, fenugreek and curry leaves fry well.
- Now add onion sauté well with salt and turmeric about 1 or 2 minute.
- Add chicken sauté well about 5 to minutes on medium flame.
- Now add ground paste step 1 mix well cook for 2 minutes.
- Then add ground onion, coriander powder mix well cook for 1 or 2 minutes.
- Now add water cook until chicken get soft. This kuzhambu should be not very thin or not very thick.
- Garnish with coriander leaves turn off the stove.
- Serve with idly, dosa or rice.
Note:
- If you want spicy you can add more chili or black pepper while roasting.
