Anjapper Style Mutton Sukka

Mutton Sukka Cook

Ingredients:

Mutton Sukka Masala Ing

Mutton(Goat or Lamb Meat) -500 grams(boneless)
Chili Powder -1tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste -1tsp
Turmeric -pinch
Salt -to taste

Seasonings:

Mutton Sukka Saute

Oil -4 to 5 tbsp
Cumin -½tsp
Sombu -½tsp
Kalpasi -few
Cinnamon stick -1small
Red Chili -5 to 7
Cashew nuts -15
Curry Leaves -few
Onion(chopped) -1 ½ cup
Tomato Paste -2tbsp
Garlic(chopped) -15 pods
Ginger Garlic Paste -1tsp
Chili and Dhaniya Powder -1 to 2 tbsp
Yogurt -2tbsp

Ingredients For

Pound:

Black Pepper -2tbsp
Sombu -1tbsp
Clove -2 to 4
Garlic with skin -4 to 6

 

Method:

  1. Wash and cook the meat with ½ cup of water and other ingredients.
  2. Cook it in the cooker.
  3. Let 4 whistle comes and keep it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes then turn off the stove.
  4. Meantime coarsely pound the ingredient’s given above, pound first 3 ingredient’s coarsely the add garlic and pound it then keep it aside.
  5. Take a pan heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning then add onion, garlic and ginger garlic paste.
  6. Sauté with little salt and turmeric until onion get soft, and then add tomato paste sauté for a minute.
  7. Now add chili Dhaniya powder mix well, and then add yogurt sauté for a minute.
  8. Then add cooked meat with water ( make sure water should be less than ½ cup)
  9. Cook it for 5 to 8 minutes then add pound masala mix well and cook it until dry.
  10. Check the salt and spiciness.
  11. If you want more  spicy add black pepper powder.
  12. This dish should be little bit spicier than other dishes.
  13. Then turn off the stove.
  14. Serve with white rice.
