Mampazha Mor Kuzhambu (Ripe Mango Buttermilk gravy)

Ingredients:

Mampazham (ripe mango) -1
Turmeric -¼tsp
Sour Cream -1cup
Yogurt -½ cup
Coconut Oil -1tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Curry Leaves -few
Red and green chili -1each
Asafotida -pinch

Grinding:

 

 Grated Coconut -4tbsp
Cumin -½tsp
Green chili -4
Rice Flour -1tsp
Ginger -1 inch

 

Method:

  1. Cut the mango wit skin and boil it with salt and turmeric about 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the stove, let it cool.
  3. Grind everything with sour cream and yogurt.
  4. Mix it with the boiled mango.
  5. Then keep it in the stove and cook it until bubble comes.
  6. Then season it and pour it in the Kuzhambu.
  7. Serve with white rice.
