Muttai kodamilagai poriyal(Egg With Bell pepper Dry Curry)

Serving: 3 | Type: Non-Veg Side Dish

 Ingredients:

 

Bell Pepper(cut) -1
Egg -3
Onion(diced) -1
Tomato puree -1
Chili Powder -1tsp
Garam masala -1tsp
Grated coconut -2tbsp
Turmeric -pinch
Coriander leaves -Few
Salt -to taste
Cashew nut -20
Oil -2tbsp

 

Method:

  1. Boil the egg and peel the skin and take out the yellow and cut the whites into pieces and keep it aside.
  2. Boil the tomato in the microwave for 2 minutes, peel the skin and grind it in the blender and keep it aside.
  3. Grind the cashew nut with little water like paste and keep it aside.
  4. Take the pan heat with oil sauté  bell pepper for 3 to 4 minutes and keep it aside.
  5. In the same pan and oil sauté onion for 1 minute then add turmeric, salt and tomato puree  sauté for 1 minute .
  6. Now add chili powder, cashew nut paste sauté well until gravy gets thicken.
  7. Then add fried bell pepper, and boiled egg cook for few minutes.
  8. Add garam masala, Grated coconut  and coriander leaves.
  9. Serve with white rice or roti.

Note:

  1. If you want you can add boiled yellow (yolk) at the end.
