Mutton Sombu keerai Kuzhambu (goat OR Lamb Meat with Dill Leaves Gravy)

Mutton -400grms
Sombu Keerai(Dill Leaves) -1cup(Cut)
Ginger Garlic paste -1tbsp
Chili powder -2tsp
Onion(Diced) -1cup
Tomato(Diced) -2
Turmeric -¼tsp
Garam masala -1tsp
Coriander powder -2tbsp
Coriander Leaves -for garnish 



Oil -3tbsp
Sombu -½tsp
Cumin -½tsp
Fenugreek -¼tsp
Red chili -2
Cloves -2
Curry leaves -few
Kal pasi -few




  1. Cut the mutton into small pieces wash and keep it aside.
  2. Take a pressure cooker heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning.
  3. Now add onion sauté for 1 or 2 minutes .
  4. Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric sauté for 1 minute .
  5. Now add tomato, dill leaves sauté for a minute then add mutton, salt cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Then add chili, coriander powder  mix well.
  7. Now add 2 cups of water into the mutton cook until 3 whistle come then keep it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes then turn off the stove.
  8. Let it cool down the cooker then open it boil it until mutton get soft.
  9. Cook with garam masala for 2 minutes then turn off the stove.
  10. Then  garnish with coriander leaves.
  11. Serve with white rice.
