Cauliflower Soup

Serving:4 |Type: Veg-Soup

Ingredients:

Cauliflower(pieces) -15 to 20 flowerets
Onion(diced) -¼ cup
Tomato(diced) -1
Green chili -4 to 6
Thoor Dhal (cooked) -¼ cup(mashed)
Turmeric -¼tsp
Salt -to taste
Water -3 to 4 cups
Milk -¼ cup
Coriander Leaves -few

Seasoning:

Ghee -1tsp
Sombu -½tsp
Cumin -¼tsp
Whole Pepper -½tsp
Kal pasi -1
Red Chili -1
Bay leaves -1
Curry leaves -few

Method:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a pot except for milk.
  2. Cook until all vegetable get soft.
  3. Take a pan heat with ghee add seasonings fry without burning.
  4. Add it to the soup.
  5. Before serving add the milk for some creaminess and serve it hot.

Note:

  1. Instead of thoor dhal you can use cooked and mashed Pasi paruppu.
  2. This soup is chettinad special.
