Dosakkai Pachadi (Lemon-Cucumber Chutney)

Dosakkai -1(Diced)
Green Chili -4
Garlic -1(optional)
Cumin -1tsp
Salt -to taste


Oil -1tsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -1tsp
Curry Leaves -few
Asafotida -pinch


  1. Peel the skin and cut the dosakkai and keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan heat with oil sauté dosakkai and green chili for 1 or 2 minute keep it aside.
  3. Now grind with cumin, garlic and salt with sauté dosakkai.
  4. Grind coarsely.
  5. Take  a pan heat with oil add seasoning fry without burning and add it into the ground chutney.
  6. Serve with hot white rice and ghee.
