Pachai Thenkuzhal(Half-cooked Fried Rice Lentil noodles)

Serving: 4 |Type: Chettinad- Snack

Ingredients:

Rice Flour -1 cup
Fried Urad Flour -¼ cup
Salt -to taste
Oil -For Frying

Method:

  1. Mix rice flour, urad flour and salt with water.
  2. Make it like chappati dough and apply 2tbsp of hot oil or butter and keep it aside (for apply oil, to avoid sticking) .
  3. Take a murukku press fill it with the dough.
  4. Meanwhile take a pan, fill it half full with oil and heat on medium flame.
  5. Take a murukku press and Press with your both hand on the top of the hot oil.
  6. Make it like round murukku.
  7. Let it fry for 10 second on each side.
  8. Take out from the oil and keep it on the paper towel.
  9. Serve it hot like snack.

Note:

  1. This dish  is special chettinad snack.
  2. Most of the people eat without any side dish.
  3. Some people eat with dosai milagai podi or puli kuzhambu.
