Winter Hot Corn Chaat(Corn Salad)

Serving: 4 | Type: Veg- Soup and Salad


Sprouted Mung -1cup
Sweet Corn -1cup
Onion(Chopped) -¼ cup
Tomato(Chopped) -¼ cup
Green Bell Pepper(chopped) -¼ cup
Red Bell Pepper(Chopped) -¼ cup
Cucumber(Diced) -½ cup
Carrot Grated -1
Green Chili(Cut) -2
Lemon Juice -2 to 3tbsp
Coriander Leaves -2tbsp
Chaat Masala -1 to2tbsp
Salt -to taste
Corn Flakes -for garnishing


  1. Steam the sprouted mung in the steamer for 10 minutes and keep it aside.
  2. Take the frozen corn boil it in the microwave about 3 minutes and keep it aside.
  3. Take a pan heat with 1tbsp of oil add onion, two peppers and little salt sauté for 1minute.
  4. Then add green chili, carrot and tomato sauté for 2 or 3 minutes.
  5. Now add steamed mung and boiled corn mix it well and turn off the stove.
  6. Then add cucumber, coriander leaves, chaat masala and lemon juice then remaining salt mix it well.
  7. While serving garnish with corn flakes.
