Italian Broad Beans Poriyal(Broad Beans with Coconut)

 

Serving: 3 | Type: Veg-Side dish

Ingredients:

Broad Beans(Cut) -2cups
Onion(chopped) -2tbsp
Turmeric -¼tsp
Grated Coconut -2tbsp
Salt -to taste
Green Chili(Crushed) -2
Garlic crushed(optional) -1

 

Seasoning:

Oil -1tsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -1tsp
Asafotida -1pinch
Curry Leaves -few

 

Method:

 

  1. Wash and cook the beans in the microwave for 3 to 5 minutes and keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning.
  3. Then add onion sauté with little salt and turmeric for few seconds.
  4. Now add crushed garlic and green chili sauté for a second then add cooked beans.
  5. Sauté for 4 to 6 minutes then add grated coconut mix well then turn off the stove.
  6. Now it is ready to be served with white rice.
