Chicken Chinthamani / Chettinad chicken uppu kari

Serving: 4 / Type: Non veg Fry/Poriyal

Ingredients:

Chicken( Cut)

-1 lb

Small Onion(Cut)

– 1 ½ cup

Garlic(cut)

– 10 to 15

Turmeric

-1/4 tsp

Salt

-to taste

Seasoning:

Oil

-4 tbsp

Red Chili (broken)

-10 to 15

Curry Leaves

-few

Method:

      1. Take a pan heat with oil add red chilies, curry leaves, onion and garlic.

      2. Sauté until onion get soft , then add chicken , turmeric and salt sauté it well.

      3. Cover with lid on medium flame. when chicken is half cooked it will become soggy with water from chicken. 

      4. Lets cook until all water gets dry.

      5. Cook until chicken get soft.

      6. Serve with white rice.

Note:

        1. If you want deep red color you can add 1 tsp of red chili powder.

        2. You can use Regular onion instead of small onion.

        3. I did not add any chili powder.
