Ghugni (Green Peas Masala)

Serving: 4 / Type: Veg Gravy

Ingredients:

Dry Green  peas (Pattani)

-1 ½ cup

Potato (diced Big)

-2 medium size

Onion (diced )

-2 cups

Tomato (diced)

-2 cups

Garlic

-5

Ginger

-1 inch

Salt

-to taste

Turmeric

-1/4 tsp

Green Chili

-2 Slit

Coriander leaves

-3tbsp

Sugar(optional)

-1tsp

Oil

-4 tbsp

Roast and powder :

Red chili

-10

Dhaniya

-3tbsp

Cumin

-1tsp

Method:

        1. Soak the peas for 8 hours or over night.

        2. Boil the peas and Potato in the cooker without mushy.

        3. With the ground powder add half of the onion, tomato ginger and garlic grind it without water.

        4. Take a pan Heat with oil add ground paste.

        5. Saute until raw smell goes and oil separates.

        6. Now add green chili, turmeric and boiled peas and potato.

        7. Boil it for 5 minutes with salt.

        8. Now add rest of the onion and tomato cook it like a minute.

        9. Garnish with coriander leaves.

        10. Turn off the stove then add sugar.

        11. Serve with chapatti, roti, paratha.

    1. Note:

1. You can make it in the slow cooker.

2. It taste Soo Good.

3. Soak it for over night and cook it in the slow cooker                                               for 5 hours then make all masalas and mix it well.
