Mullu Murungai Roti (Kalyana Murungai) Indian Coral Tree

Serving: 6 to 8 pieces/ Type ; Medicinal / Snack

Ingredients:

Boiled Rice(idly Rice)

– 1 cup

Mullu murngai leaves

– 15 to 20

Black Pepper

– 2tsp

Sesame oil

-for making

Method:

        1. Soak the rice for 3 hours.

        2. Take the leaves discard all the vines keep the leaves.

        3. Take the mixer add rice , leaves and pepper grind it smooth paste.

        4. Do not add salt. (If you add salt it takes away the medicinal value)

        5. Without salt only we have to make.

        6. Heat with dosa tawa on medium flame.

        7. Take a lemon size dough and pat it into a thin disk on aluminum foil(apply oil ) then place it into the hot tawa for a minute , then take out aluminum foil from the tawa.

        8. Now drizzle 1tsp of sesame oil around the roti cook it for a minute.

        9. Now flip it and cook it for a minute with little oil.

        10. Take out from the tawa.

        11. Now ready to have it hot.

Note:

          1. Its very good medicinal value.

          2. It cures Dry Cough.

          3. If you want you can add salt.

          4. You can use any oil or ghee you want.

          5. You can pat directly in to the hot tawa.
