Gobi Paratha (Cauliflower Stuffed paratha )

 

Serving:2 Pieces: 7 or 8 |Type: Roti

 

Ingredients For Dough:

Wheat Flour -2 cups
Salt -to taste
Warm Water -1 to 1 ¼ cup
Oil -2tsp
Omam(optional) -1tsp

 

Ingredients For Stuffing:

Cauliflower(grated) -1 ½ cup
Green chili -3 (chopped)
Salt -to taste
Turmeric -¼tsp
Cumin -1tsp
Coriander Leaves -3tbsp(chopped)
Garam Masala -1tsp
Onion(optional) -1tbsp(chopped)

Method:

  1. Prepare soft dough for chappati (Mix all the ingredients for dough) Keep it aside for 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Grate the cauliflower and keep it aside
  3. Take a pan heat with1tsp oil add grated cauliflower sauté with salt and turmeric .
  4. Now all the ingredients for stuffing mix with sautéed  cauliflower.
  5. Take the dough make a ball with even numbers.
  6. Take two balls roll out 2 small chapatti’s , take the stuffing mixture place it in the middle of 1 chappati and spread it and cover with another chappati without air pocket and roll it like thick chappati(paratha).
  7. Now heat the tawa cook both sides of the paratha with little oil or ghee for medium heat.
  8. Serve hot with any side dish or raitha.

Note:

  1. Make sure while rolling the paratha stuffing won’t come out.
  2. After cook the paratha you can serve with a spoon of butter.
