Javvarisi Payasam(Sagoo Pudding)

Ingredients:

Sagoo -½ cup
Sugar ½ or ¾  cup
Boiled Milk -2 cups
Cardamom Powder -Pinch
Ghee -1tsp
Cashew nuts -10
Raisins -10

 

Method:

  1. Take a pan heat with ghee and fry cashew nuts and raisins and take out and keep it aside.
  2. Same pan with ghee add sago fry until it get puffed little then add 1 cup water.
  3. Boil until sago get transparent then add sugar boil it until sugar dissolves.
  4. Then add cardamom powder, cashew nut and raisin mix it well.
  5. Turn off the stove.
  6. Cool down the payasam little while then add boiled milk.
  7. Serve hot or cold.

Note:

  1. You can add 1 ½ cup boiled milk and ½ cup coconut milk.
